The Nitro Helical Worm Gear is a torque-sensitive mechanical Limited-Slip Differential that uses worm gears and spur gears to dispense and distinguish input power between two drive wheels or front and back axles. This is a completely separate design from the common beveled spider gear designs seen in most of the automotive industry.
Just like any LSD, the Nitro Helical Worm Gear functions as a standard or open differential under normal driving conditions, allowing one wheel to spin faster or slower as necessary. When a wheel experiences a loss of traction, the gear separation forces start to take effect and distributes the torque to the high-traction wheel by increasing the helical-shaped gears mesh force until wheel spin is reduced or entirely stopped. Once the vehicle exits the low traction condition, the differential resumes normal operation.
What's nice about the operation of a Nitro Helical Worm Gear LSD, is its characteristics; smooth, quiet and automatic. This LSD will engage without any driver awareness or require any action. It also has no wearable components and requires no maintenance, producing less time on the rack and more on the road.

*All Nitro Gear & Axle brand products are warrantied to be free of manufacturer defects for the specified period. Warranty requests must be made by the original purchaser and submitted by the dealer purchased from. Any parts sent for warranty consideration must be pre-approved and shipped prepaid freight to our facility with copy of RGA for our inspection & determination. We will not pay for labor, shipping cost, loss of revenue or perishable goods, commercial losses, costs of telephone calls, shipping or general inconvenience. This is our only warranty expressed or implied. Unauthorized warranty returns may be refused. Warranty generally covers MFG defects in material or workmanship. Great, but a little big…

Super soft and cute, I got this for my toy Cavapoo puppy. The different textures are perfect. It is a little bigger than I was expecting, and will probably be about the same size as my puppy when I get her, but I’m sure she’ll love it. I don’t know how safe it will be yet since I’ve yet to be able to watch her play with it, but I don’t see anywhere that could have loose strings for her to choke on, so I’d say it’s pretty safe. Overall a perfect toy for dogs, with a squeaker and nice textures for the dog to chew on.

Fun for a dog bad from lamb chop.

Great value for the price
